"Felt Ignored and Frustrated"
The customer service left me feeling frustrated. I had to follow up twice, and even after all that, I still didn’t get a clear or helpful answer. It just felt like my issue wasn’t really being taken seriously

"Why are the policies so hard to find?"
Ordering was easy enough, but trying to figure out the return and delivery policies was way more frustrating than it should’ve been. I had to click around and dig through pages just to find basic info. Like, how is this okay? That stuff should be clear upfront, not something customers have to hunt for...

"Packaging could’ve been better"
The box showed up a bit squashed, which was disappointing. The item seemed okay, but it still makes you wonder why packaging standards are so loose. Feels like one of those policy loopholes where as long as it technically arrives, nobody really takes responsibility for how it gets there

"Loyalty scheme was a bit of a letdown"
I signed up for the loyalty programme thinking it might come in handy, but it’s been disappointing. Like I said, I expected it to be useful, but my points took ages to show up and when I finally checked the rewards, they weren’t really anything special. Customer service did get back to me in the end, just not very quickly. My Alpine Trek orders themselves have been fine, like I said, no real issue there, but the loyalty scheme doesn’t feel worth the effort

"Finally found it in my size"
I’d been looking all over the place for this jacket in my size, and Alpinetrek was pretty much one of the only sites that seemed to have it available. I ordered it right away and everything went fine, no hassle or anything. It was just nice to actually find it in stock for once instead of seeing the usual “out of stock” message everywhere.

I ordered from alpinetrek.co.uk and, to be fair, the item itself was totally fine. Quality was good and delivery didn’t take longer than I expected, so no real complaints there.
The only thing I’d be careful about is the taxes/customs side of things. It wasn’t super obvious to me at checkout what was already covered and what could possibly show up later, so I’d recommend double-checking before paying. Not a disaster, but I do wish they made it clearer upfront.

"Checkout felt safe, but I’m curious what others think"
Overall, the payment process felt secure to me, but the card verification steps were a little unclear. I didn’t have any issues, though I’d feel better knowing if other people had the same experience.

"Cancellation worked out, but it was a bit slow"
I cancelled my order and, yeah, it did get sorted in the end. I just had to follow up a couple of times because I wasn’t really sure what was happening. The refund came through after a few days, so it wasn’t a bad experience exactly, just not quite as smooth as I’d hoped.

"Fit Perfectly the First Time"
I ordered my usual size and felt so relieved when I tried it on and it fit just right. I always remember the hassle of sending things back when sizing is off, so this was such a nice surprise. The size guide was actually helpful, and I didn’t have to deal with any returns.

I went in expecting to pick up a few decent hiking bits, but the selection was disappointing.
The weird part is, it looked like they had a lot at first glance, but once I actually started checking, loads of sizes were missing and the brands I usually go for either weren’t there at all or only had one or two random items.
If you’re not too bothered about brands or exact sizes, it might be okay, but it didn’t really work for me. I ended up leaving it and buying what I needed somewhere else

"Return process was exhausting"
I tried to return a pair of boots the whole process left me feeling mentally drained. It was slow, confusing, and I had to keep chasing them just to get any kind of update. I’m still waiting on my refund, which is really frustrating. I don’t think I’ll be ordering from them again because it’s just been way too much hassle.

I ordered a fleece and a few pairs of socks, and so far they seem really well made. The sizing was about right for me too, which is always a bit of a relief. For the price, I’d say the quality feels good overall

I ordered some gear from Alpinetrek.co.uk and, to be fair, it did turn up in good condition. The delivery just took longer than I’d expected, and the tracking wasn’t very clear, so I spent a few days not really knowing what was going on. The product itself was absolutely fine once it arrived, so I can’t complain too much, but I do wish the shipping had been quicker. Overall, it was okay, not brilliant, not awful, just one of those experiences you kind of accept and move on from.

I ordered from alpinetrek.co.uk for the first time and it felt like a proper outdoor shop, not one of those weird sites with massive fake discounts flashing everywhere. I was looking for a jacket while half-watching TV with a cup of tea, and the product details were actually useful, especially the sizing and brand info.
The delivery was straightforward and the jacket turned up looking exactly as expected, with the tags on and the packaging all tidy. Nothing felt dodgy or thrown together, which I always notice with outdoor gear for some reason. I’d happily use them again, easy 5 stars from me.

"Nice to see the eco effort"
I liked that they actually show sustainability info on the products, and my order didn’t come buried in loads of packaging. You can tell they’re trying a bit harder than some other outdoor shops, which is always nice to see.
